1. Overview

HarCo BrewKing ("we", "us", or "our") provides a live craft beer aggregator and taproom explorer for Harford County, Maryland. We value your privacy and design our applications to minimize data collection. No personal account, email, or password is required to browse live tap lists, plan flights, or submit beer ratings.

2. Data We Collect

• Anonymous Device Identifier: When you submit a 1–5 star beer rating, a randomly generated pseudonymous identifier (UUID) is created on your device. This prevents duplicate ratings without requiring an account or collecting personal identity.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you opt-in to push notifications on our native mobile app, an Expo Push Token is stored to notify you when new beers are tapped. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Location Data: Location permissions are only used locally on your device to calculate driving proximity between breweries and generate crawl routes. Your physical location is never logged or stored on our servers.
• Local Storage: Your custom flight selections and local ratings are stored locally on your device and are never sold or shared.

3. Third-Party Services

Our application links to third-party services, including Google Maps and Apple Maps for turn-by-turn directions, and Stripe for voluntary tip-jar support. These third parties maintain their own respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Beer ratings and push notification tokens are retained only as long as necessary to provide service functionality. You can reset your local ratings or flight by clearing app storage. To request removal of an anonymous device rating history, contact us at contact@harcobrewking.com.
